Sweden Spying on Afghan Civilians
Mar 15th 2007CarlAfghanistan & Political & Privacy & Sweden
Today a Swedish TV station told that the Swedish troops in Afghanistan are spying on civilians as well as the local police and military.
Phone lines of whole towns are listened to at times, which is especially worrying and wrong. It’s not the first time that Sweden doesn’t care about the privacy of private people, unfortunately. Even in wars we should care more about privacy and human rights; these rights are too important to be lost.

Nothing is wrong here… but afghan civilians aren’t like humans they ARE humans. It’s like serial killers - the case is open - it’s neglect or child abuse or genes that led up to their crimes, nature vrs nurture or whatever - but they are still humans, not 3-eyed purple people eaters from uranus, if you want to be logical. Humans work in various ways - evil, good, shades of gray and some lean more towards eithier or. Human doesn’t have to equal to benign, or good cos that’s what you’re labled.
