I don’t think Chimpanzees should have the same rights as humans because people apply to those rights. Its not like a chimp is going to walk up to someon an say something like ‘I dont really like you very much’ or something stupid like that. They deserve their own set of rights.

In fact, Why don’t I just kill u all off right now 1 by i - would you like that - OR would you RATHER SEE A DEAD ANIMAL< and enjoy it to the hilt! We’re all different - that’s for sure.

what does it matter how intelligent they are or how complex we are - still scratching the surface here. So we have more “pronounced” morals, ethics, even so - called free will. Do we use it properly? Stand beside yourself and see yourself, and every human, and decide for yourself who is wrong. So animals don’t have morals , huh? At least they’re not going around testing , and doing experiments on one another. Oh, and they don’t have a conscience? Poor souls. There are plenty of humans who don’t have a conscience, OR morals and don’t care what damage they do to another person. I’d rather have instincts!

I don’t think it would be right to give a chimpanzee all the rights of a human, they may be an intelligent animal but they are no where near as complex as us. saying all animals should have to same rights as humans is naive and there would be no point to it, as they will still be discriminated against and abused,as they can’t talk for themselves.

I agree Animal testing is very wrong and we need to stop it but i dont think that chimps have all the same rights as humans when they start speaking english and comment on this blog then we will talk

i dont think chimpanzis should have all the rights as humans… it would damage the society… imagine a chimp drivin a car around….. or workin at ur local mcdonalds or other restaurant. Think of how many people would be hurt or…. du dun duuuuuuun… killed.
